Cave Run is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest on South Hwy 801. With approximately 170 miles of shoreline and a surface area of 8600 acres, it is one of KY’s best fisheries. Standing
timber, weed beds and shallow flats offer lots of prime cover necessary
for the development of a fishery of this magnitude.
Cave Run is known as the "Musky Capitol of the South" The current KY state record Musky, 47.75 lbs was caught here.
